New project of 2018-2019 : " Peacock Cafe"

On 2018,my new project of theatre awarded by National Culture and Arts Foundation and Ministry of Culture in Taiwan , which about an Eastern Gouache artist Chin-Chu ,Lin, who is a Taiwanese was born at Taichung which the same with me.And he was very active on 1960 to 2000 in the field of Eastern Gouache , who is the symbol artist of Taiwan’s visual art development in the past.I would like to write a script with him as the axis ,then expand the cultural landscape and the changing in the Taichung city and Taiwan's turbulent colonial history. Based on the “Genius Loci” of it, revealing the concept of boundary movement and local humanity. Which triggers the audience's “orientation” and ‘identification”, blends the characteristics of inner reflection in my personal creation, and forms a sense of the times and sentimental awareness.

2018年的目標，在於完成一部以林之助為軸心，擴及在地城市文化空間與人文景觀變遷的劇本，內有具時代感的詩歌朗誦、具認同感的編寫方向、具地方感的舞台想像以及充滿復古氛圍與現代氛圍對應的音樂、舞蹈編排，並以歌曲串連以上元素，期盼借此劇本，得以集結台中跨領域藝術家，完成一部以劇場為整體藝術的空間，以在地文化空間轉變為主題，在劇場中呈現五感中的城市印象創作。
